Modeled after the great hotels of Europe, the Hotel du Pont is the perfect place to enjoy the elegance and style of Afternoon Tea. Amid warm furnishings and signature artwork, Afternoon Tea is offered starting at 3 pm seven days a week.
Varied Tea Presentations allow for a unique customizable experience; modeled after a traditional English tea service the "Artisanal Tea" may include such classic tea sandwiches as Smoked Salmon & Dill Butter on house-made Brioche. Spectacular Seasonal Tea Presentations are also available; celebrate July 4th, Halloween, and the Holiday Season with grace and elegance with the whole family, amid the luxury of the Hotel du Pont.

Centennial Tea Service

The Centennial Tea features our new centennial tea blend, created especially for the Hotel du Pont’s centennial celebration. This tea is infused with a burst of pineapple, the international symbol of hospitality, to commemorate our commitment for 100 years. Also featured at our Centennial Tea are various blends from the Delaware Art Museum and several DuPont Estates in the Brandywine Valley. Choose from Longwood, Winterthur, Hagley, and Nemours teas.
Throughout the year, the Green Room also will offer themed teas, such as Downton Abbey Tea, Patriotic Tea, Halloween Tea and Nutcracker Tea. $28 per person, not including gratuity.
