The Gold Ballroom at the Hotel du Pont: This one-of-a-kind room was built in 1918 in the French Neoclassic and Louis XVI styles, with ornate decorations and unique scenes created in the sgraffito technique (multiple layers of colored plaster which is then hand etched). Twenty medallions of famous women in history circle the ceiling. This beautiful ballroom can accommodate parties of up to 500.
