Centennial Tea Service
January 1 - December 31, 2013

The Centennial Tea features our new centennial tea blend, created especially for the Hotel du Pont’s centennial celebration. This tea is infused with a burst of pineapple, the international symbol of hospitality, to commemorate our commitment for 100 years. Also featured at our Centennial Tea are various blends from the Delaware Art Museum and several DuPont Estates in the Brandywine Valley. Choose from Longwood, Winterthur, Hagley, and Nemours teas.
$28 per person, not including gratuity.
Centennial Speaker Series: "The Wyeth Collection"

Join us at the Hotel du Pont on December 11th at 4pm for the third installment of the Centennial Speaker Series! Thomas Padon, Executive Director of the Brandywine River Museum, will host a lecture discussing N.C. Wyeth as a regional “star” and a national treasure, how he settled in the Brandywine Valley, his influence on other artists, the Brandywine River Museum’s collection, and the Hotel du Pont’s collection.
The cost of the Speaker Series presentation is $65 per attendee, and includes a champagne & hors d'oeuvres reception, lecture, and Q&A session. A prix-fixe themed dinner will be offered in the Green Room for $45 after the lecture.
Downton Abbey "Month"
Inspired by the masterpiece British television drama on PBS, Downton Abbey Month invites guest to the Green Room to celebrate a traditional afternoon tea, a specialty lunch, and a formal four-course dinner as it was in times gone past, or more appropriately, as it was when the historic Hotel du Pont opened over 100 years ago!

Prepare for the Season 4 Premiere of Downton Abbey with a special Downton Abbey Tea including live entertainment and tables dressed with specialty lace linens. On this day, guests are also encouraged to wear early 1900's period dress. Guests will enjoy a three-course tea service, and can choose from a variety of teas including the new Hotel du Pont Centennial Blend, a hearty black tea infused with hints of pineapple, the international symbol of hospitality. $34 per person, not including gratuity.
- Downton Abbey Lunch - January 2-17, 2014
Enjoy a specialty themed Downton Abbey Lunch in the Green Room, appropriately priced at $19.12, the year that the show was originally set.

- Downton Abbey Dinner - Saturday, January 11, 2014 - 6 p.m.
The Green Room will host a four-course Downton Abbey Dinner, on January 11, with live entertainment and white-glove service to help set the tone. Special guests Tom Savage (Director of Museum Affairs at Winterthur Museum and Gardens), Maggie Lidz (Estate Historian), and two exhibit designers will be in attendance to share details regarding the upcoming "Costumes of Downtown Abbey" Exhibition at Winterthur, which will begin in March 2014. Dinner is $100 per person, inclusive of gratuity, wine pairings, and valet parking.

In celebration of its Centennial Anniversary, join the Hotel du Pont as they recreate Christmas in 1913! New Year's Eve Gala Package

Ring in 2014 with the Green Room and Hotel du Pont! Our luxurious package begins with a cocktail reception at 7:30 p.m., followed by a sumptuous 7-course dinner at 8 p.m., with live entertainment and dancing until 1 a.m.
The New Year's Eve Gala is only available as an overnight package. Package includes the Green Room Gala for two, overnight accommodations, valet parking, a welcome gift, and buffet breakfast for two on New Year's Day. Package starts at $599 plus tax and is subject to availability. Advance reservations required.
