History Explorers Package

Package features admission to Hagley Museum, a tour of the Hagley Powder Yards, and a guided tour of Eleutherian Mills, the first du Pont family home in America, restored by Louise du Pont Crowninshield, who was one of the founders of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Located on 235-acres along the banks of the scenic Brandywine River, Hagley is the site of the gunpowder works founded by E. I. du Pont in 1802. Hagley provides a fascinating glimpse at early American industry and includes restored mills, a workers' community, and the ancestral home and gardens of the du Pont family. History Explorers Package also includes admission to the Delaware History Museum (Wilmington, DE), and the George Read House (New Castle, DE), free valet parking overnight at Hotel du Pont, and full breakfast daily in hotel restaurant.

Andrew Wyeth Legacy Package

Explore the legacy of painter Andrew Wyeth with our Andrew Wyeth Legacy Package.   Package includes admission to the Brandywine River Museum in Chaddsford PA near Longwood Gardens, a la carte breakfast in the Green Room at Hotel du Pont, overnight accommodations, and free valet parking with us.

Exhibiting American art in a 19th-century grist mill, the Brandywine River Museum is internationally recognized for an unparalleled collection of works by three generations of Wyeths and its fine collection of American illustration, still life and landscape painting.

Enhance your experience:  Victoria Wyeth and the Wyeth Legacy. Enjoy a private tour of Chaddsford and the Brandywine River Museum including Kueners Farm and other Wyeth locations (weather permitting), led by Victoria Wyeth.  Ms. Wyeth is the granddaughter of Andrew Wyeth and the great-granddaughter of painter N.C.Wyeth.  The tour includes a private one-hour presentation at the Dillworthtown Inn focussing on the art of Victoria's famous relatives. Chaddsford Tour is about one hour, Wyeth art presentation is one hour, and Brandywine River Museum Tour is one hour.  Victoria Wyeth tour must be booked 14-days in advance of arrival date.  Private Tour Fee:  $2500 flat fee for one to six guests (maximum of six guests) for one three hour tour led by Victoria Wyeth.
