    Yes. HOTEL DU PONT offers complimentary high speed wireless internet hosted by AT&T - in all guest rooms, suites, meeting rooms, restaurants, and public areas. We also offer a business center with 2 PC workstations with printers and complimentary internet access.

    Yes, the hotel offers amenities for business travelers, including a 24-hour business center with two computer workstations with Microsoft Office, a printer, and complimentary internet access. There is also a UPS Store located in the duPont building.  Aditionally,  offer 25,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including an Executive Conference Center and state-of-the-art meeting rooms with audiovisual equipment.

    Yes. Currie Hair, Skin and Nails at the HOTEL DU PONT offers elevated spa, salon and beauty care treatments in a vintage, 1900's atmosphere. Our spa offers body, hand and foot treatments, massage, hair care and styling, thermal mud and infrared sauna treatments.

    IF YOU DISCOVER A FIRE
    1. Pull the nearest fire alarm. Close all doors around the fire area to keep the fire from spreading. Report the fire by touching Emergency on your telephone or dialing 2911. If no reply, call the Boston Fire Department by dialing 9911.
    2. Remain calm, do not rush and think carefully. If there is smoke in your room, do not stand, as smoke and gas rise. Stay as low to the floor as possible and keep a wet cloth over your nose and mouth.
    3. Prior to evacuating, take your room key as you may need it to get back into your room if smoke or fire block your way out.
    4. If the inside of your guestroom door feels hot, or smoke is coming in from underneath it, do not open the door. Otherwise, exit from your room, close the door behind you and proceed to the nearest and safest emergency exit.
    5. Do NOT take any luggage. Do NOT use the elevators. All elevators will be automatically recalled to the ground floor during the emergency. Proceed to the evacuation point as directed by Hotel colleagues.
    IF YOU HEAR AN ALARM
    1. Listen for instructions over the public address system.
    2. If an evacuation is ordered and you are in your room, take your key with you. You will need it again later.
    3. With the back of your hand, test the door to the hallway to see if it is warm or cool. Open the door slowly if it is cool. Close the door quickly if there is fire or thick smoke in the hall.
    4. If the hallway is clear, go to the nearest exit. There are two exits on every floor. If the hallway is smoky or dark, stay close to the walls as you make your way to the exit. Keep low to the floor.
    5. Check the exit door for heat prior to opening it as you did before. If the stairwell is safe, proceed down the staircase.
    ALARM SEQUENCE OF OPERATION
    1. The fire alarm sequence begins with three consecutive tones followed by an automated announcement.
    2. The announcement will instruct occupants to evacuate their floor only if it is followed by additional evacuation tones. 
    3. Evacuation tones are consecutive tones and strobe lights that would follow the automated announcement for the floor of the alarm, as well the floor above and the floor below.
    4. If you do not hear evacuation tones following the announcement, you should remain in your room until further announcements are made over the public address system.
    5. Security will make live announcements over the public address system as soon as any information is available.
    If Your Exit is Blocked
    1. Should your stairwell start to fill with thick smoke and your exit turns out to be unsafe, return to your room.
    If You Cannot Leave Your Room
    1. If you cannot exit, your guestroom is the safest place to be.
    2. Turn off the air conditioner.
    3. This will prevent smoke from being drawn into your room.
    4. Push wet towels under the door and block air vents to stop smoke from seeping in through the cracks.
    5. Fill your bathtub. Keep plenty of water in the tub and have ice buckets and wastebaskets nearby for carrying water.
